The Best Of August Is Here π
Published 1 day agoΒ β’Β 3 min read
Hi there, Reader
At the end of the month, I love looking back to see which recipes everyone was cooking the most! Shock, horror though...Pumpkin is starting to show up in my website analytics π«£ I'm not sure I'm ready for that!
Join me in taking a look at the recipes that were most loved, reviewed, shared, and devoured in August!
AUGUST'S NEW & UPDATED RECIPES
If you missed any of these the first time around, consider this your sign to fix that immediately!
These recipes were the most popular this month. They have found their way into your kitchens and your family meals, and thatβs just the absolute best feeling π
My Nooch Tofu is definitely top of the pops this month after going viral on Instagram. It went nuts, and I gained a ridiculous amount of new followers and email subscribers. (Hello if you're new here! π)
This oldie dropped out of the top rankers for a while, but it looks like it's making a comeback. I love that it's nut-free in these times where everything is so expensive. The price of nuts is nuts! π€
"Delicious! I was nervous as Iβve never made apple butter before but I should have known to trust you. It turned out amazing! So dark and rich we are putting it on everything." - Carly on Apple Butter.
"This is quick and delicious! My mom used tomatoes and basil from her garden. It feels fancy and looks great while tasting heavenly. The crust is so good and Iβm already thinking of other savory ways to use it!" - Colleen on Vegan Tomato Galette.
"I want to know why this cake doesn't get more love! The recipe is SO GOOD. I have made it twice in the last week and my daughter has been taking a slice to work each day. It is good folks; just treat yourself." - Jane on Vegan Peach Cake.
"Iβve made several seitan βroastsβ over the past few years but this is truly THE BEST one Iβve ever made. I doubt that I will ever try making another seitan roast - this is just SO GOOD!!!!" - Amanda on Vegan Beef.

Here's to a new month! Happy September! If you try one of these recipes, I'd love to hear (in the comments under the recipe on my website) how it turns out. You can also share a picture in the AVV Community or on Instagram!

Hi there, Reader Okay, this one is pretty in pink! π π PIN FOR LATER Meet my new Blended Raspberry Chia Pudding. A creamy, fruity, lightly sweet, slightly tart little number that needs just 5 ingredients, takes minutes to make, and works with fresh or frozen raspberries. Like my recent chocolate chia pudding, this one is blended until silky smooth, so you don't get the weird chia pudding texture, which can be off-putting for some (me included). I love having some of this in the fridge ready...
Hi there, Reader It's hot, and Iβve rounded up some of my favourite vegan smoothie recipes because sometimes the best meal plan is not turning on the stove. Cold, creamy, nutritious, ridiculously easy, and if the blender is doing all the work and you are not, we're calling that a win! Mel x Thank you once again to GrΓΌns for sponsoring this email. In case you missed it before, their gummies are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, & non-GMO! High Protein Tofu Smoothie π PIN FOR LATER πͺ...
Hi there, Reader The grill is hot. The tofu is marinating. Life is good. βοΈ It starts with a punchy lemony, garlicky, noochy marinade that does double duty. First, it transforms the tofu while it marinates. Then, whatever's left becomes the most ridiculously good finishing sauce. (I love an overachiever!) β¨ Quick to prep.π₯ Perfect for the BBQ.π₯ Just as good on an indoor grill pan or in a skillet.π Meal-prep friendly because the flavour gets even better as it hangs out in the fridge. So if...
