The Best Of July Is Here ☀️

Hi there, Reader

Whether you’re looking for something new to try or want to revisit an old favourite, these are the recipes that have been most loved, reviewed, shared, and devoured in July!

You'll also find some of my favourite reader reviews, and we'll take a little look at what some of you have been cooking in your kitchens!

Here's to more yummy cooking in August!

These recipes have found their way into your kitchens and your family meals, and that’s just the absolute best feeling!

1 - Vegan Chickpea Salad

Woah - This one really blew up! I didn't hit publish on it until the 22nd, and it's already made its way to be the Number 1 most popular recipe in July!

2 - Stuffed Cucumber Cups

Cool, crunchy, creamy, spicy little numbers that eat almost like sushi rolls. Surprisingly easy to make with no cooking!

3 - Easy Whole Wheat Bread

Consistently in the Top 10, this recipe is a real winner. If you've never made bread before, it's very beginner-friendly and great for sandwiches and toast.

4 - Grilled Baby Potatoes

The recipe responsible for me ranking number 1 in Google search results for "grilled baby"! 😱😆😱 This one is very popular every summer and always a fave at cookouts!

5 - Black Bean Burgers

Another tried and true reader favourite that is consistently in the Top 10. Pile them high with guacamole, fried onions, and greens and call them dinner!

6 - Cinnamon Roll in a Mug

Perfect for when you want a squishy cinnamon roll but don't have the time or inclination to make a proper batch.

7 - Healthy Pie Crust

Regular pastry ALWAYS gives me terrible heartburn, which is why I developed this oil-free recipe. I had no idea how popular it would become!

8 - Nutritional Yeast Tofu

A go-to for me! I've just finished snacking on some cold leftovers from dinner last night. I legit took a bag of this to the movie theatre instead of popcorn once! 😆

9 - No Discard Sourdough Starter

I bake all of my own bread, mostly sourdough, and have never discarded any sourdough starter thanks to this method, which has been my go-to way for about 30 years...(That makes me feel old!)

10 - Kidney Bean Burgers

Kidney beans are a very underrated burger base. Give them a try in this very popular bean burger recipe!

Until next time, friends
